Terms & Conditions of sale

Delivery

Delivery is free of charge to anywhere within UK, Ireland and the Republic of Ireland on the purchase of the Air Purifier and this includes other items purchased at the same time. However, shipping charges will apply on the purchase of filters, replacement parts etc shipped outside mainland UK if purchased separately from the Air Purifier. If you are purchasing more than one replacement filter or multiple items please call 01225 752494 or email us for shipping costs.

On receipt please inspect the goods carefully for damage as AirControl Systems is unable to accept responsibility for damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products unless the customer advises AirControl Systems of such within two working days from the date of delivery.

When you place your order you must notify AirControl Systems of any special delivery instructions that are required.

Please ensure that adequate facilities are available at the place of delivery in order that the delivery driver can carry out prompt and safe unloading.

Deliveries are made by a driver only and therefore his responsibility is solely to offload at ground level. Prior to receiving your goods you will be notified of a delivery day. Standard delivery is normally any time during a normal working day. However we can provide a timed delivery at additional cost and this can be advised at the time of purchase.

Certain deliveries are made directly by our distributors, this information will be supplied to you at the time of ordering along with the relevant contact details.

Installation

AirControl Systems is not responsible for the installation of any product.

Availability of Goods

All orders are subject to product availability. If the product you have ordered is not available from stock, you will be contacted by e-mail or telephone and will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order.

Returns

Returning items:

If you wish to return item(s) for whatever reason within 7 working days of delivery, you may do so providing the item(s) are unused and in their original packaging and in a condition suitable for re-sale (not applicable to Business customers). The customer will be credited in full excluding all delivery and collection charges once the product has been received back at AirControl Systems. AirControl Systems reserves the right to charge for any damage or missing parts.

Please call 01225 752494 and we will arrange a collection of any unwanted/damaged goods. We will pay for defective/damaged returns but should you simply not like the item and wish to return it there will be a handling charge applicable and this cost is available upon request depending on the item to be returned. Alternatively you can return the item yourself which must be returned in an unused condition with the original packaging, together with a valid receipt or other proof of purchase.

You have the right to cancel your order within a "cooling off period" which lasts 7 days from the day after taking delivery. Cancellation must either be in the form of facsimile, e-mail or letter and sent to our address as indicated. If you cancel your order within this period then you will be responsible for returning the goods to us in good condition or alternatively you will be responsible for our costs in recovering the goods. The customer must make sure the goods remain undamaged and unused.

After contacting us to confirm you wish to cancel the contract, please package the item securely and send it to us with the delivery slip so that we receive it within seven working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. It is your responsibility to ensure that returned goods reach us in a re-saleable condition.

We suggest that you take out carrier insurance in case in the event that the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be made.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery slip, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. Once the goods have been returned and verified to be in an unused condition, your credit card will be credited for the purchase price less our original shipping costs to you. This charge will be the actual costs of delivery. This depends on the weight and size of the goods ordered and in most cases will be higher than the delivery cost charged on the order. Damage in transit, shortage of delivery or loss of products must be reported to AirControl Systems within 3 working days from the date of delivery.

Items are to be returned at your cost unless you can establish to the satisfaction of AirControl Systems the item purchased was damaged or faulty when you received it.

The manufacturer may offer free inspection and repair for all products that develop a fault, not caused by accident, misuse or neglect, within the manufacturers guarantee period.

Prices & Payment

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

Unless otherwise stated the goods shall not become the property of the buyer until the purchase price of the goods has been paid in full.

All prices and products quoted are subject to alteration or withdrawal from time to time without notice.

Guarantee and warranties

You must acknowledge that AirControl is not the manufacturer of the Goods. We will however endeavour to transfer to you the benefit of any warranty or guarantee given by the manufacturer or supplier of the goods.

All Daikin Air Purifiers are covered under a 3-year parts & labour warranty within the UK & Ireland. Should you have a problem with a machine during the warranty period then in the first instance please contact AirControl Systems by telephone, fax or email. The manufacturer shall be responsible for honouring this warranty.

For all other European countries the warranty will be 2-Year Parts & Labour. During the warranty period it will be the customers responsibility to return the item in a secure package insured against loss or damge. The replacement or repaired item will be dispatched to you at our cost.

Ordering

You may order products displayed on this web site by telephoning AirControl Systems or by faxing or posting  a purchase order. If you place your order via fax, telephone or mail we will confirm you order via e-mail or post within 2 working days.

If AirControl Systems is unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as it can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and refund you any money which you have paid.

You can pay by any Visa or MasterCard credit card or by Switch, Solo or Delta debit card. You may also pay by cheque or money order if you wish.

AirControl Systems will debit money from your account within one working day after it has received your order.

AirControl Systems cannot guarantee delivery times but it aims to deliver within the advised specified when placing your order.

If the goods are not delivered within the specified delivery time then please contact us by telephone or e-mail.

This contract shall be construed in accordance with English law. None of these conditions effect your statutory rights.
